How to request account and data deletion

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly within the Lockin app. No email or external request is needed.

  1. Open the Lockin app
  2. Go to the Profile tab
  3. Scroll down to the Account section
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. If you have active challenges, choose whether to wait for them to finish or forfeit them immediately
  6. Type DELETE to confirm

Your account will be deleted immediately after confirmation.

What Happens to Your Data

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming.

Active challenges Forfeited (stakes donated to charity)
Friends and social data Deleted immediately
Leaderboard data Deleted immediately
Support tickets Deleted immediately
Financial transaction records Retained for legal and accounting compliance

Active Challenges

If you have active challenges at the time of deletion, the remaining stakes will be forfeited. The forfeited amount is split between a platform fee (18.89%) and a donation to your selected charity (81.11%).

You can choose to wait until your challenges finish before deleting your account to avoid forfeiture.

Retention Period

All personal data is anonymized at the time of deletion. Anonymized financial records (transaction amounts, dates) are retained indefinitely for legal and accounting purposes. These records cannot be linked back to you.
